Ministry of Economic Opportunities Minister Alan Winde will publish a list of key statistics every month.

The latest survey released by Stats SA revealed that most jobs created in the Western Cape amounts to 91 000 jobs.

In Gauteng 31 000 jobs were created and 26 000 in Kwa-Zulu Natal.

Minister Winde’s spokesperson Bronwynne Jooste said Minister Winde has put together a set of indicators on our economy and it includes information on our dam levels, the number of property transfers and vehicle registrations.

Jooste said Minister Winde believes that it is important to share this economic information, and he hopes it helps people understand our economy, and also welcomes feedback from residents on what kind of figures they would like to see profiled in this monthly report.
