WC MEC Dan Plato attends new PNP workshop this weekend

This weekend Western Cape MEC of Community Safety, Dan Plato, will attend the new Provincial Policing Needs and Priorities consultation workshop for the Hermanus/Caledon police cluster in Caledon.

This newly structured 2-day PNP consultation workshop will see a practical and implementable safety plan drafted that is aligned to the safety needs and priorities within every community across the Western Cape.

MEC Plato’s spokesperson Ewald Botha said the communities of Bredasdorp, Caledon, Gandbaai, Genadendal, Grabouw, Hermanus, Kleinmond, Napier, Riviersonderend, Stanford, Struisbaai and Villiersdorp have the opportunity to contribute to the Safety Plan.

Botha added that the community have the opportunity to contribute to the Safety Plan as a safety blueprint for communities which provide a shared ownership, responsibility and accountability to safety.
