22 people injured after 7 taxis collide with each other

A seven taxi pile at Wolmarans and Klein Street in Johannesburg CBD left 22 people injured.

ER24 Spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said when ER24 paramedics arrived on scene they found several by standers in the area, patients were laying on the pavement and the taxi’s were badly damaged.

Bodasing said 22 patients sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate injuries; they were all treated and transported to local hospitals.

The exact details to the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
