An accident earlier today on Bhalito Road in Molweni
left a truck driver dead and one person sustaining moderate injuries.
ER24 Spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said when they arrived
on scene they found the wrecked truck on the side of the road.
Bodasing added that the truck driver had sustained
multiple injuries. It is believed the truck rolled over him when he was
ejected. Unfortunately there was nothing paramedics could do for him and he was
declared dead on scene. The passenger sustained moderate injuries.
The exact details to the cause of the accident will
remain the subject of a police investigation.
