Western Cape police have not yet made any arrests following the discovery of a body that was necklaced in Phillipi Marikana squatter camp.
This follows an incident last week in Mfuleni whereby a 16-year-old boy was found stoned and set alight in Shukushukuma squatter camp.

Police Spokesperson Thembinkosi Kinana said they received reports about an unidentified man that was set alight by members of the community, following allegations of a stolen cellphone.

Kinana said no arrests have been made in this case however a murder case has been opened and police are investigating.
