A man believed to be in his 20s died last
night after he was shot in Chive Road Western Cape
ER24 Spokesperson Russel Meiring said when
they arrived on scene on the scene and found the man lying in the middle of the
intersection in a pool of blood. On assessment of the patient, paramedics
discovered he had been shot multiple times and that he showed no signs of life.
Meiring added that they immediately began CPR while
providing the patient with advanced life support. Unfortunately, after 25
minutes of CPR, the patient succumbed to his severe injuries.
Exact details to the cause of the accident
will remain the subject of a police investigation.
