20 people displaced after a fire breakout in JHB

Approximately 20 people have been left homeless after a  fire broke out in the Zandspruit informal settlement this morning.

According to Johannesburg Emergency Services officials  12 shacks were destroyed in the fire that was reported at around 6am.

Police and other officials are looking for findings on the possible cause of the fire.

The fire has been extinguished.No injuries or fatalities have been reported.
