Four men believed to be in their 30s to 50s
have died this morning when their vehicle rolled multiple times on the Raakskraal Road of Focville.
It is alleged that the driver lost control
of the vehicle after he swerved to avoid a pothole in the road.
ER24 Spokesperson Russel Meiring said they
arrived on scene to find a light motor vehicle on the side of the road and down
a small embankment. It was apparent that the vehicle had rolled multiple times.
On assessment, paramedics found the four
occupants sitting around the vehicle. All four men had sustained moderate
injuries in the collision.
Paramedics treated and stabilised the
patients before they were transported to Leslie Williams Hospital for further
treatment.
Exact details to the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
