President Zuma says energy crisis a top priority for the ANC

The African National Congress on Saturday celebrated its 103 ANC’s Woman’s League President Angie Motshekga said the issues of the country are being addressed and are being taken serious by the ruling party especially issues affecting women.

The Congress of South African Trade Union President Sdumo Dlamini while giving his message of support said they expect the ANC to remember that the workers of this country are still being exploited and are still struggling with labour brokers. We are working with the ANC because they know the struggle of the workers of this country.

South African Communist Party General Secretary Blade Nzimande emphasised the support of the SACP. There are so many people who still think they can destroy the ANC but we say to them they will not succeed. The Western Cape continues to be a province of minority and of inequality.

 


 

 

 


President Jacob Zuma while delivering one of his most important speeches said the ANC is a movement that brings vision to the people of the this country. Zuma emphasised the challenges the party is facing including triple challenges which are unemployment, poverty and inequality.

Zuma said the ANC is at the forefront of creating the possibilities for the much bigger middle class. The party will make sure that the middle class, particularly the black middle class continues to grow.

As the country is experiencing electricity problems since the collapse of a coal silo at the Majiba Power station in Mpumalanga President Zuma said assured the nation that the ANC is putting energy as one of it apex priority.

 

In terms of corruption President Jacob Zuma said the ANC needs to continue to lead in ending corruption in the state, the private sector and amongst our own membership.

President Zuma raised his concern regarding the pace of land redistribution and will continue to balance the national interest of restoration, economic development and food security.
