SATDU calls for intervention in the education system

The South African Teachers Democratic Union said the education system needs to start focusing on the entire education system from Grade 1 so that we can detect problems early.

Sadtu has also called for more teacher development in order to improve teachers to be able to teach learners in all subjects more effectively.

Sadtu’s Deputy General Secretary Nkosana Dolopi said “If we could put equal emphasis on the grades in the education system, that will help us identify all the challenges that we experiencing early and intervene quickly.

Dolopi said we need to prioritize the development of teachers and support them and also provide them with necessary resources then we can definitely get the desired results in Grade 12.
